A: No – that’s the point! Our Hosted Lync platform allows users to travel with their phone number and stay in contact with their peers. For users that need a traditional land line, there are physical phone options like the Polycom VVX500 as well as soft phones which require as little as a headset or earphones with a microphone to place calls via the Lync client.
A: Hosted Lync Standard allows PC-to-PC connectivity for such activities as instant messaging. Enterprise Plus enables more services, including VoIP and conferences.
